The Rockefeller homes were built with many features that would have been considered premium quality at the time. The gutters are 16 gauge, half-round copper, The downspouts are also 16 gauge 3" and 4" diameter round type. The brick is "heavy sanded Yellowstone, Stapleton blend. The entrance doors are heavy 2" oak. Interior doors are birch and gum wood. The shutters were constructed of cypress wood. Slate floors are featured in the foyers. Screens throughout were made of Anaconda bronze 16 mesh wire netting . A radio antenna in the attic culminates in a wall plate in the living room.
The Original "Rockefeller" homes were equipped with what was then considered, state of the art equipment. We have learned about the following and a complete story is included.
